CAMS -the software conservation needs
EcoNet is building a Conservation Activity Management System (CAMS).
CAMS CRM for conservation is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365, fully integrated with Click Dimensions marketing software. CAMS CRM enables contact management, integrated emailing, centralised contact list, cross organisation visibility of interests, preferences, groups, skills, agreements, tool library, event and actions recording, health & safety plans and incident reporting and more. All of this is is reported seemlessly in Power BI. Conservation groups now have a 360 degree view of people, projects, inputs and impact
CAMS CRM is in use by five conservation groups, one of which has 6000 contacts. The CRM has revolutionised the way these conservation groups engage and record data.
CAMS GIS is built on ArcGIS Online Hub Premium. The most used tool is the CAMS Weed eToolkit developed in conjunction with the Society Totally Against Mothplant (STAMP) and the Environmental Weed Coalition to improve weed control recording. This tool is revolutionising the management of widespread weeds such as mothplant. To date thousands of weed records are on the weed app and being updated daily. We now have an iNaturalist integration enabling entry of data via iNaturalist, synching into the CAMS Weed App.
CAMS GIS includes mapping of locations which synchronise through to CRM. ArcGIS websites are also available with the ability for new users to sign up to use EcoNet tools, record hours and actions, and potentially see your organisations GIS dashboards.
